THE HIGH SCHOOL LAUNCH WEBINAR

The High School Launch Webinar helps incoming freshmen start high school with greater confidence, stronger habits, and a clear understanding of what it takes to be successful from the very beginning.

Student will learn to

• Use an academic planner as a success tool, not just a place to write homework:
  track assignments, organize responsibilities, plan ahead for tests and projects, and build routines that support consistent performance.

  Understand that time management is really self-management:
  learn how to manage attention, routines, energy, and daily choices so school responsibilities feel more manageable and less overwhelming.

  Use stronger study strategies from the start:
  practice effective note review, active studying, and preparation habits that help students truly learn material instead of waiting until the last minute.

  Break down large assignments into smaller, manageable steps:
  use simple systems for planning, pacing, and completing projects without unnecessary stress.

  Build emotional resilience:
  develop practical tools for handling challenges, adjusting to setbacks, managing stress, and maintaining a mindset that supports growth throughout the school year.

  High school brings greater independence, higher expectations, and more responsibility. Students are expected to keep up with assignments, manage multiple classes, follow directions, and take ownership of their learning.
